I forgot I had this thing

Complete forgot I had this thing but after googling my summoner name to find an old forum thread, I randomly stumbled across this blog and was like "Oh, yeah, right, that was me." so I'm going to write some things about my latest thoughts of LoL because, holy shit, Wukong patch was my last comment? Wow, I've got some catching up to do because the game is very different right now.

So, Season 2 started and I duo queued with some of my less talented RL friends and ended up completely fucking my Elo - I'll get it worked out later on but right now, it's looking really depressing. This is the first time I've ever -really- been in Elo hell, having avoided it for the most part in season 1. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of shit teams but none of them were this bad.

I'm getting games where people are locking in with Heal and Smite because heal is awesome and smite damages players (Not a single one of these players has ever jungled and a few have told me "It does more damage than ignite" but in worse English). Holy fucking shit. How the fuck can you get to level 30 and not realise any of this sort of basic gameplay shit? I mean, don't get me wrong, there are a lot of players on the European servers who can barely speak English and I guess the client isn't available in their language so they might not be able to read in-game text and such (Americans will likely be unfamiliar with how huge the language barrier is in Europe) but Jesus Christ, surely you'd have figured out some of the information by now. And actually, most of these god awful players seem to be French too - I have nothing against the French (or any other nation for that matter) but as the Client is available in French and there is a full forum for French users too, there seems to be less of an excuse for being so bad.
